"Fluffy Womb"- Quiet Floor Project
Ambiance
Taking you inside of the shelter.
Before I decided to paint the leaves white. I wanted the viewer to focus on the form and texture that they created rather than the color.
The two words I recieved is "Quiet and Floor" When I think of the adjective 'quiet' I think of a world inside of a world or something that retains information/thought/emotion/etc. on the interior rather than exterior. The shelter has a atmosphere that depicts of a home of some sort. It looks as if an animal created a nest. I intended for the viewers to be comforted by the scene inside, even though they had to try hard to get intimate with the object. The viewers were forced to interact with the floor itself. This is why it has been placed on the ground with a low opening.
